Cotton Bias Type Buffing Wheel: These buffing wheels are made of high grade cottons for cut-down and color operations.

Excellent buffing wheel for running on automated buffing wheel equipment. Used for mush buffing and contour work. Buffing wheel runs cooler than conventional buffing wheels and does a faster polishing job.

Material is made into bias strips. These strips are then gathered into a clinch ring and this is what gives the buffing wheel a pleated appearance. Available in different types of treated or untreated cloth.

Finger Cable Sisal and Cloth Buffing Wheel: Fingers of cloth and sisal evenly spaced around a clinch ring.

Cutdown polishing buffing wheel used on steel, aluminum, brass, and zinc die cast. For irregular shaped parts.

Buffing wheel is made by holding multifolded sections of cloth to a metal center. Rows of sewing added radially to sections increase stiffness. The larger the metal center the stiffer the buffing wheel.

Satin Finish Buffing Wheel: Abrasive impregnated non-woven wheel which produces random satin bright finish.

Buffing wheel is used for satin finishing, light deburring and blending.

Buffing wheel abric is impinged with specific abrasive from very fine to coarse.

Bias Sisal Buffing Wheel: Tightly sewn bias sisal same as full disc sisal. Treated or Untreated.

Cut down on steel, stainless steel. Buffing wheel wears longer than full disc Sisal because Sisal is cut on bias.

Buffing wheels are formed from bias cut sisal strips. A metal clinch ring and a metal center is used. Standard is 8 ply, 1/2" thick-sewing 1/8",1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" spiral sewing. Centers 3", 5", 7", or 9".

Open Face Sisal and Cloth-Bias Buffing Wheel: A combination cloth and woven sisal. Clinch ring size: 3", 5", 7", 9"

For cut down operations where flexibility is necessary. Buffing wheel is used mainly on steel parts which have irregular shapes and mush buffing is needed.

One ply of sisal with a ply of cloth sewn on each side. Sewing usually 1/4" or 3/8" between rows. Buff comes standard with 8 completed plies. Also comes in sisal only. Treated or Untreated.

Sisal Buff-Full Disc Sewed: A more flexible sisal buffing wheel than bias sisal buffing wheel. Treated or Untreated.

Cut down on steel or stainless steel. Sometimes cotton plies are used between sisal to make the buffing wheel slightly softer.

Buffing wheel cloth is cut into full discs, each ply is turned slightly for even wear. Spiral sewed at 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2".

Pocket Buffing Wheel

For buffing or coloring operations. Softer than the loose buffing wheel. Runs cool and more flexible. Made with different grades of material.

Constructed by folding cloth disks into pockets. Standard 18 or 34 ply's. 6" to 16" diameter.

Full Disc Loose Buffing Wheel: A very flexible buffing wheel used mainly on hand buffing lathes for coloring.

For small amounts of cut-down, usually used for buffing high color on all types of metal, plastics, etc. |
Cloth cut into full discs, with plies turned for even wear and sewed only once around the arbor hole. |
Full Disc Sewed Buffing Wheel: This buffing wheel is used for flat or accessible surfaces. This buffing wheel is stiffer than a loose buffing wheel.

Buffing wheel is used to cut-down, it is used for contact buffing, mainly used on hand buffing lathe. Made with untreated or treated cloth. |
Cloth is cut in full discs and sewed in a spiral from the center to the edge of the buff. It can also be sewed in concentric circles from the center to the edge of the buff. Spacing between sewing are 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". Some other types of sewing are spoke, radial arc, or square. |
